AU Signs a Cooperation Agreement with BTEC
Al Ain University of Science & Technology has signed a training cooperation agreement with BTEC, a main provider of several British qualifications in the Middle East. BTEC is also a cornerstone to admission into British universities.

As always, AU is keen on taking part in providing the latest academic programs and qualifications to meet the needs of the job market especially that BTEC’s qualifications in the fields of vocational and applied sciences for high school graduates are among the top vocational and professional training certificates in the world.
BTEC has affiliations and partnerships with several British awarding bodies including the British Computer Society, Cambridge International Exams, the Scottish Qualifications Authority, and NCC Education.

In September 2011, BTEC will start providing a number of vocational qualification programmes to prospective students. The programmes will take place at the equipped training centres that AU has provided in its campuses in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi. This agreement is part of the societal interaction of AU to meet the needs of a large number of community members who wish to get into the vocational field.
