AAU President Meets MBA StudentsIn line with its principles of maintaining communication with its student body, Al Ain University administration met with the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) students. The purpose of the meeting was to touch base with the students, identify their requests, and guide them towards effective academic steps for achieving a higher level of knowledge and education. AAU President, Professor Ghaleb El Refae, attended the meeting with the Dean of the College of Business Administration, Dr. Sobhy El-Khatib, faculty members at the college, and MBA students.

Prof. El Refae welcomed the students reiterating that AAU is keen on meeting regularly with students to follow up on their situation and provide all means of support. We believe such meetings enhance the essential dialog between AAU administration and the students who represent the AAU’s academic level and reflect its policies and developmental plans. The meeting with the graduate students comes as part of the attention AAU pays to masters programs and its concern for ensuring the availability of all resources that support students and staff in their pursuit of a higher academic achievement which, in turn, will reflect on the job market through training national professionals holding advanced qualifications.

Prof. El Refae added, during the meeting, we highlighted the importance of a graduate degree, namely for Business Administration graduates, the criteria for accrediting masters programs at AAU, and AAU’s strategies in this regard. Further, we listened to the students’ suggestions and concerns as these serve to aid in the evaluation of the educational process in order to identify future development steps so as to achieve more positive results.
