AAU College of Pharmacy Receives Final Accreditation

AAU College of Pharmacy Receives Final AccreditationIn culmination of Al Ain University's continued effort in development, quality assurance, and improvement of the research and learning processes directed towards community service, the Commission for Academic Accreditation of the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) granted the AAU College of Pharmacy the final accreditation for the BSc in Pharmacy program.

On this occasion, Dr. Noor Aldeen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, extended his appreciation to the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and the faculty members at the College of Pharmacy for the great effort exerted to obtain this achievement.  The accreditation follows several visits and close follow up by the CAA committees at the MOHESR as AAU ensured to accurately meet all the rigorous requirements of the CAA and MOHESR.

 Atatreh added that the AAU College of Pharmacy has the latest technologies in teaching and learning as well as specialized faculty members who hold their degrees from prominent universities. Moreover, the BSc in Pharmacy program was designed to incorporate the highest level of interaction between faculty and students in addition to focusing on enriching the students' knowledge and scientific research skills.

Further, Atatreh reiterated that the final accreditation is a true culmination of the efforts of the AAU administration and the active role it plays in supporting the job market and providing human resources. AAU has always been keen on keeping up with requirements of the job market through preparing competent professionals who have successfully completed their studies and who have received their field practice at various scientific organizations such as hospitals, drug factories, and pharmacies.
