As part of its belief in the importance of community engagement and deepening the national spirit among students, Al Ain University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, took part in the press conference to launch Qasr Al Hosn Festival 2014 to be held under the patronage His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces and organized by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority.
Qasr Al Hosn Festival will open its doors from February 20th to March 1st, 2014. AAU students will take part as ambassadors of the festival by taking visitors on introductory tours of the Qasr al Hosn Fort, the 250-year-old fort that is considered one of the oldest historical sites in Abu Dhabi. In addition, the students will offer visitors an explanation of the culture, heritage, and tradition of the UAE.
