AAU college of education received the academic accreditation for three bachelor programs

aau, College of Education received the academic accreditation for three bachelor programsThe College of Education and Humanities and social science at Al Ain University received the academic accreditation in three new Bachelor majors (Bachelor of Arts in applied Psycology, Bachelor of Arts in Apllied sociology and Bachelor of Education in special Education)

The program comes to cater for the needs of the educational job market. According to the results of a survey conducted by the College of Education covering private and public schools, there is an increasing demand in the school education in the UAE for qualified teachers in Arabic and Islamic Studies.

Professor Ghaleb El-Refae, AAU President, pointed that the accreditation is a culmination of AAU’s effort in identifying market needs. AAU has always kept in line with the requirements of the various fields and has ensured providing the job market with competent, qualified cadre able to keep up with the latest technologies in their field.

The College of Humanities and social science at AAU prides itself with the latest instructional technologies and top quality faculty members.  The programs offered have been designed to include the highest level of interaction between faculty members and students. In addition, promoting scientific research among students has always been of paramount importance for AAU.

AAU will begin admission into the new program at the beginning of the First Semester 2014/2015.The new major will be a program of 126 credit hours distributed in 8 semesters and it includes a 9 weeks of internship in private and public school.
