In line with its goals in community engagement and in order to contribute to giving students hands-on learning, the College of Law at Al Ain University, in collaboration with the Community Engagement Committee, organized a field trip to the Inheritance Clerk at the Judicial Department in Abu Dhabi. The visit, arranged by Dr. Maher Haswa, Assistant Professor at the College of Law, is part of the field training for the students enrolled in the Jurisprudence of Inheritance, Wills, and Islamic Waqf course.
Counselor Sultan Al Kaabi, Inheritance judge, welcomed the students and briefed them on the process of handling inheritance cases in court. After a question and answer session, the students visited the court archives and sat in on courts that were in session.
