AAU launched an Iftar initiative on the occasion of the Zayed Humanitarian Day

On the occasion of “Zayed Humanitarian Day” which comes on the 19th of Ramadan, to commemorate the death of the late His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. And on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, Al Ain Campus, organized "Iftar initiative", where a group of university students distributed Iftar meals to the drivers on the streets and traffic intersections at Maghrib time.
Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq, Dean of Student Affairs, stressed on the University’s keenness to strengthen the culture of interaction with the community through establishing campaigns and initiatives by following up all the community issues and conditions as well as contributing to integrate the students with the community by playing vital roles in the development of the society.
This initiative is aimed to strength the humanity, spreading an atmosphere of love and affinity among the people during the holy month of Ramadan, in addition to consolidating the culture of cooperation and volunteerism.
