AAU Offers New MBA Tracks in “Project Management” and “Healthcare Management”

Starting with the First Semester of the New Academic Year 2018-2019, new MBA tracks are offered by Al Ain University in the Project Management and in the Healthcare Management.

Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, AAU President, said that offering these tracks comes to meet the UAE leadership vision to improve the higher education sector. And achieves the AAU’s strategy to be one of the most prestigious institutions of higher education in the region,  by offering a variety of academic programs at the level of bachelor's and master's applied to the highest international standards and compatible with the labor market requirements.

He added: “Offering these two tracks in the Master of Business Administration Program, provides a unique opportunity for enrolled students to benefit from the expertise of the professors, experts, and researchers in these fields”. He also pointed out that, the aim of offering the Project Management track is to contribute to enhancing the leadership, organizing and planning skills of students to manage business and projects. While offering the Healthcare Management track, aims to provide a comprehensive multi-course program in the management of health care services and systems to qualify students to become managers in the healthcare sector to develop healthcare systems locally and internationally.

For his part, Dr. Adel Ahmed, Dean of the College of Business, said that the registration is open for all the students, and the admission requirements are obtaining a Bachelor degree, approved by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates.

He also pointed out that, the business and healthcare sectors are witnessing increasing growth over the years, which require the students to be fully qualified with a comprehensive and complete administrative qualification,  having the ability to solve the problems they may face. He added that the new MBA tracks aim to enable students to expand their management perspective in the field of projects and the health care system in the country, In addition to, graduating leaders capable of working and productive with high efficiency.
