AAU and the Arab Council for Training discuss the Student Exchange Challenges

Al Ain University represented by Prof. Ibtehal Aburezeq, Dean of Student Affairs and the Assistant Secretary General of the Student Affairs Deanships, participated in the virtual symposium entitled, Student training exchange which emphasized on the importance, characteristics, and challenges, organized by the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities.

The seminar was headed by Prof. Fawaz Al Zghoul, Director of the Arab Council, and presented by the two speakers; Dr. Salem Al Hasanat, President of the Arab Center for Training and Rehabilitation, and Dr. Suhaila Helsa, An expert in the field of training from the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Jordan.

The symposium discussed the importance and advantages of student exchange between Arab universities in order to develop student’s skills through the field training and to be benefited from the experiences of other Arab universities. They also discussed the challenges which they face, especially in light of the current situation in all over the world due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with an emphasis on the need to overcome difficulties and find solutions to preserve continuity of student exchange.

At the end of the symposium, the participants suggested a number of recommendations that would contribute in serving the objectives of the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities. Where, Prof. Aburezeq suggested to hold a seminar for students who previously participated in the previous creative forums to talk about their success story and their experience.
