Successful Journeys and Stories told by pioneering women

In the presence of Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, AAU President, the Deanship of Student Affairs in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Business Women Council, hosted a group of pioneering ladies who talked about their success stories and their achievements.
Dr. Shafiqa Al-Ameri, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Business women Council at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Secretary General of the Arab Youth Council of the League of Arab States, encouraged women to establish their own projects, and provide them with advices and tips. She also indicated the importance of cooperation between the Council and Al Ain University in implementing joint activities and programs for business women and providing direct communication channels to ensure the exchange of experiences and partnerships.
Also, a group of young women who have their own projects which varied between restaurants, beauty centers, pastry shops, and development projects, shared their success stories, how they implemented their projects and what difficulties they faced and how they were able to overcome them.
The seminar was virtually under the supervision of Prof. Ibtehal Aburezeq, Vice President of Development and Follow up and the Dean of Student Affairs. And was attended by a number of academic and administrative staff, AAU students and community members.
Prof. Ibtehal expressed Al Ain University's interest in supporting and encouraging all the women, in order to advance their role in the renaissance that the country is witnessing in various fields. She also praised the effective efforts made by the Abu Dhabi Business Women Council in order to activate the participation of female entrepreneurs and innovators and to enhance the role of Emirati women in active participation in various areas of development.
