Healthy event on the occasion of the World Heart Day

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, Al Ain campus, in collaboration with Burjeel Royal hospital, launched a health initiative entitled “Be a Heart for every Heart” on the occasion of the World Heart Day.
The initiative included free medical tests on checkups such as body mass index, pressure, cholesterol and sugar, where the aim of this initiative is to enhance students' and family's knowledge of precautions to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Prof. Ibtehal Aburezeq, Vice President of Development and Follow-Up and the Dean of Student Affairs, said that the World Heart Day is an opportunity to raise awareness of the cardiovascular diseases, motivate people to choose a healthy lifestyle to reduce their risk of heart disease.
