AAU students took part in the Arab Leader Preparation Program held in Egypt.

Khazina Ali Al-Amiri, from the College of Education and Human Sciences, and Doaa Ahmed Ibrahim, from the College of Communication and Media, were both involved in the "Arab Leader Preparation" training program at Luxor University in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Leadership Development Institute in conjunction with the Association of Arab Universities organized the program.

 

The AAU’s participation came within the framework of enhancing cooperation and exchanging knowledge between Arab nations was exemplified by the involvement of the two students. The aim of this effort is to cultivate a new generation of capable Arab youth who can take on leadership roles in their respective universities and countries. By providing opportunities for these individuals to interact with peers from different universities and immerse themselves in new experiences, the university aims to enrich their skills, broaden their horizons, and empower them for success.

Regarding this matter, Prof. Ibtehal Abu Rezeq, the Vice President for Development and Follow-up Affairs and Dean of Student Affairs, highlighted the significance of the Arab Leader Preparation Program. She emphasized that the program plays a vital role in preparing the future generation of Arab youth, and Al Ain University is committed to contributing to this goal by sending its two outstanding students. These students exemplified creativity, competition, and excellence, and represented Al Ain University with distinction as its finest ambassadors.

The two students who participated in the Arab Leader Preparation Program expressed their delight in joining it. They appreciated the program's cultural, social, and athletic activities, which exposed them to new opportunities and allowed them to gain diverse experiences. The students were able to develop meaningful relationships and represented Al Ain University excellently in external forums.
