A delegation from the Embassy of Uzbekistan visits Al Ain University.

A delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including His Excellency Mr. Jakhongir Xaitov, Deputy Head of Mission (Charge Affaires) and Mr. Sardor Karimjanov, First Secretary at the Embassy to the United Arab Emirates, visited Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi Campus). The delegation was received by Dr. Noor Atatreh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al Ain University and other university officials.
The visit aimed to explore avenues for academic cooperation between Al Ain University and educational institutions in Uzbekistan, and to open channels of communication and exchange of expertise in the field of higher education.
During the meeting, Dr. Atatreh provided an overview of the university, discussing its development over the past years, reviewing the colleges and specializations it offers, and the growth of its infrastructure and academic programs in line with modern educational standards.
The delegation gave a brief presentation on the Republic of Uzbekistan and the development of various sectors within the republic, particularly the higher education sector. They highlighted the Uzbek government's efforts to develop universities, enhance international cooperation, and provide a competitive educational environment for students. The two sides also discussed the possibility of establishing future partnerships between Al Ain University and several Uzbek universities, including student and academic exchange and organizing joint scientific and cultural events.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency Mr. Jakhongir Xaitov presented a memento from the embassy to the university. The delegation expressed its thanks to Al Ain University for the warm welcome and constructive dialogue, emphasizing the importance of continuing communication to contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.
