Al Ain University Wins Gold Medal at the 2025 Istanbul International Inventions Fair

Al Ain University has proudly won the gold medal at the 2025 Istanbul International Inventions Fair (ISIF), one of the world’s leading platforms showcasing pioneering innovations and fostering knowledge exchange among inventors worldwide.
Representing the university, Dr. Nuha Hamadah received the award for her invention, registered with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), titled “The Electricity-Generating Brick.”
This innovative brick marks a breakthrough in the field of sustainable construction. It incorporates an integrated solar panel to continuously generate clean electricity, alongside additional features such as heat recovery, thermal insulation, and self-cleaning. With its advanced design, the brick not only enhances energy efficiency but also adds aesthetic value to modern buildings.
