AAU Signs Memorandum of Understanding with BITS Pilani

Al Ain University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for resource sharing and library cooperation with BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus, at the AAU Campus in Al Ain, on Monday, October 24, 2011.
The purpose of this Memorandum is to promote and expand inter-library cooperation between the two libraries. The memorandum was signed on behalf of AAU by Prof. Ghaleb Awad El Refae, AAU President, and by Dr. R. K. Mittal, Director and Senior professor of BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus, in the attendance of Mr. Abdoulaye Kaba, AAU Library Manager, and Dr. N. Radhakrishnan, Senior librarian of BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus.
The agreement allows both institutions to exchange reference information through telephone, fax or e-mail; to exchange scholarly published articles from printed and electronic materials; to exchange scholars for lectures, talks etc., and to share ideas in the library and information and other fields of knowledge.
