Seminar on Statistics at AAU

The AAU College of Business Administration in Abu Dhabi campus, in cooperation with the National Bureau of Statistics, organized a seminar on the Bureau and the services provided. The deputy dean of the college of business administration in Abu Dhabi campus, Dr. Sameer Al Bargouthi, in addition to faculty members and college of business students attended the seminar.
The main topics the seminar tackled included an introduction on the National Bureau of Statistics, data collection and categorization, selection and importance of samples, specifying and usage of indicators, and a case study. The seminar was delivered by Mr. Sufyan Al Bargouti, Director of the Statistical training center, and Mr. Ma’moun Kassab, Director of the Statistical Method Department.
On this occasion, Dr. Sameer Al Bargouthi, deputy dean of the college of business administration in Abu Dhabi campus, extended his appreciation to the National Bureau of Statistics for the useful seminar and the invaluable information that would definitely enhance the students’ knowledge of the methods of statistics and the benefits it has for the community.
