As part of focusing on providing students with hands-on experience, the College of Law at Al Ain University organized a field trip for students enrolled in the Law of Commercial Companies and Bankruptcy course, supervised by Dr. Abdullah Al Ghoweiri, to the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The trip aimed at enhancing interaction between AAU and the UAE community institutions in addition to introducing students to the services offered by the chamber, the process of registering commercial companies, and information and conditions for registering national and foreign companies.
The meeting also tackled the role of the chamber in monitoring companies and supporting Small and Medium enterprises (SME). During the meeting, the students’ queries were addressed by a number of the chamber’s experts, consultants, heads, and representatives of departments who included Dr. Nassif Dhefari, Dr. Ayaat Abu Baker, Mr. Jamal Mohammad, and Mr. Ali Al Mansouri, Director of the legal services department.
At the end of the visit, the Director of the legal services department at the chamber was presented with a certificate of appreciation to the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its employees for their cooperation.
