A Workshop Entitled "Cloud Computing" at Ain University

The Student Affairs Deanship at Al-Ain University of Science and Technology, based in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Microsoft Co. and the Community Engagement Department of the College of Business Administration, has organized a workshop entitled "Cloud Computing" presented by Prof. Mert Onan, in the presence of members of the academic and administrative bodies and university students.
The workshop included a practical training system of the cloud (azure) from Microsoft and different solutions provided by the system, which is a free account for every student to be able to create different Web applications through the use of models in the system. The workshop included an overview of the different concepts and the fundamentals that support system for cloud computing: IaaS (infrastructure services)/SaaS (software as service)/IoT. There was also a display of cloud computing benefits for companies and institutes that have started using this system.
