AAU President to Meet New Students

Professor Ghaleb Awad El RefaeWithin its eagerness to communicate with University students and new students, the Deanship of Students Affairs at both campuses  has typically organized technology its first meeting with the new students at the start of the first semester of the academic year 2015/2016, in the presence of the University’s President,  Professor Ghaleb Awad El Refae, Vice-president, Professor Abdul Hafeez Belarbi, deans and faculty members as well as some administrative staff members.

Professor El Refae welcomes the new students by showing his delight at seeing them in the University, who will be the focus of attention by the University Administration and staff. Moreover, the University seeks to provide services for her students to ensure a suitable atmosphere for studying.

Professor refae has pointed out that the University through the development phase, has come a long way from the academic plans for the various programs offered in six colleges, namely College of Engineering and IT, College of Pharmacy, College of Law, College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Business Administration and College of Communication and Media, and for that the University has contracted with an elite group of academic experts in various disciplines, which will reflect positively on academic outcomes sought by the student, providing at the same time the job market requirements from all disciplines. Such outputs would match the best and highest output of the higher education institutions and the academic world, stressing at the same time the role of academic advising for new students until the student is aware of his/ her plans, forewarned at the same the consequences of incomplete and cumulative exams because they put pressure on the student.

For his part, Professor Abdul Hafeez Belarbi, welcomed the new students to the University, explaining to them that it has a keen interest in methodological and extracurricular aspects, where to get the best academic results achieved through several strategies, including attention to the extracurricular activities that support educational vision. He also stressed the importance of communicating with the Deanship of Student Affairs to benefit from student services and miscellaneous activities that refine the student's personality and gain experience and skills. The deanship always stands ready to provide cultural and social activities, sports and art through different divisions.
