AAU Tributes Students from the University’s Honor’s List

AAU Tributes Students from the University’s Honor’s ListAl Ain University of both campuses, in Abu Dhabi and in Al Ain, organized a ceremony to honor outstanding students from various colleges in the presence of the University President, Prof. Ghaleb El-Refae, the Vice-President, College Deans and the parents. The aim is to further encourage them in their efforts to enhance their academic achievement and knowledge to maintain excellence and superiority.

And Prof. El-Refae expressed his appreciation towards the 26 students of honor. During the ceremony, he said in his speech that ‘success’ is the main aim that requires intensive efforts and hard work, especially in educational settings where students who wish to reach the goal of dealing with the sources of information and access to modern knowledge all the time.

Ghaleb El-RefaeProf. El-Refae noted that Al Ain University is keen to put programs and courses in various disciplines which dovetail with the needs of the labor market by pioneering programs that contribute to the development of abilities of students and to develop their skills through participation in seminars, conferences and other events, and recognize the experiences which contribute to the integration of the students scientifically and practically to positively reflect upon their cultural and academic level.

For his part, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Belarbi, AAU Vice-President, spoke of his pride in honoring the students who have proven their excellence. He said to the students that excellence is not only a merit, but reflects the style and approach to life, and as you approach during your academic years, it will continue in your professional life, and I hope to be in all phases and aspects of life.

The Student’s Honor List was announced on the University’s web page. It should be noted that the conditions for obtaining the SHL is to register for 15 credit hours and get a rate of 3.6 in three consecutive terms, in addition to any other conditions such as lack of disciplinary warning against the student, and that the word ‘incomplete’ does not appear in the record of a student.
