AAU Vice President welcomes the freshman students for the second semester of the academic year 2015-2016 –Abu Dhabi Campus-

In the framework of its keenness to the new students, the Deanship of Students Affairs at Al Ain University –Abu Dhabi Campus- held the first orientation meeting with the freshman students on the occasion commencement of the of the second semester for the academic year 2015-2016. It started with a warm welcoming note by the AAU Vice President, Prof. AbdulhafidBelarbi, who enthusiastically greeted the new students that joined Al Ain University.
(He pointed out that the University embraces them all their creativity and their energies and talents, and wished them success).
Dr. Iyad Abdul Majid -Vice Dean of Student Affairs- welcomed the Vice President of the University and deans, heads of departments and freshman students. He said that as the University welcomes the students, he assures them determination to renew hope and build motivation, then he talked about the Deanship of Student Affairs and its objectives, functions, and sponsorship and supervision of student activities. Finally, he defined the university system with respect to the rights of students and definitions of academic terms.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs thanked the attendance of professors, students and the student council for their participation.
