A Student’s Field trip to Exeed Precast

The College of Engineering at Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi Campus) organized a field trip to Exeed Precast, under the supervision of Dr. Omar Najim for the civil engineering students.
The field trip included a full and exclusive tour around the fully automated precast factory, where students were introduced to the main steps of the precast industry starting from material acquisition, concrete production, batching, and testing, moving to reinforcement laying out and finally concrete casting and special curing process.
This trip aimed to familiarize the students with the pre-casting process and engage them in the real-life application of materials and structural engineering, which agrees with the constant support and emphasis of the College of Engineering regarding practical learning and community engagement.
