Maritime Law Students Visit Khalifa Port for Practical Learning Experience

Students enrolled in the Maritime Law course at the College of Law – Abu Dhabi Campus – conducted an educational visit to Khalifa Port, accompanied by the course instructor, Professor Ramzi Ahmed Madi, Vice Dean of the College of Law. The visit aimed to strengthen the practical dimension of the course and bridge theoretical concepts with real-world application.
During the visit, students received an overview of UAE maritime law and its connection to port operations. They also attended a presentation on Abu Dhabi Ports Group and its leading role in developing the maritime transport and logistics sector at both regional and international levels. In addition, students explored the operational mechanisms within the port and learned about its strategic importance in supporting the national economy.
This visit reflects the College of Law’s commitment to providing students with hands-on learning opportunities that deepen their understanding of maritime legislation and prepare them to effectively address practical legal issues in the field.
